Wish Man Movie Premieres at The Egyptian Theater in Hollywood on June 4th

You’re invited to attend the World Premiere or Wish Man movie. Wish Man is a biographical drama based on the life of Frank Shankwitz – creator of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The film begins when Frank Shankwitz, at age ten, is traumatically separated from his father and follows him through his rocky and traumatic youth. At age 38, we find Frank a motorcycle cop who’s at rock bottom in his personal life, until a near fatal accident creates a rare opportunity for Frank to meet a 7-year-old boy with terminal leukemia who dreams of becoming a police officer. The film’s message is clear: one boy’s wish changed a man. One man’s wish changed the world.

The film stars Andrew Steel (The Justice Lease) and Bruce Davison (X-Men) as Frank Shankwtiz in his younger and senior years. Other principle cast includes Danny Trejos Machete, Desperado, Con Air) Kirby Bliss Blanton (Project X, The Green Inferno), Robert Pine (CHiPs, Frozen, Independence Day) and more.

Wish Man is helmed by English up-and-coming writer/director Theo Davies whose award-winning short film (starring Charlie Cox of Daredevil, Boardwalk Empire) was selected for the BBC Film Network in the UK. He also previously directed ‘5 Hour Friends’ starring Tom Sizemore, which was distributed domestically by Gravitas Ventures and worldwide by Paramount Pictures.  The film is produced by Greg Reid, an international best-selling author, film-maker and founder of the Forbes top-rated event for entrepreneurs, Secret Knock; and Marc Gold, founder of  Fresh Cats Entertainment, which started as a film funding company in 2009 and is now producing a slate of 8 films in 2019.
