Dene'Quia is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Hollywood, Fla. She started singing at the age of four years old within her family church. She also sang in talent shows and has been writing music since the age of 10 years old. Dene’Quia has over 15 years of vocal theory, Opera and acting experience. After almost a 14 year hiatus from music in 2017, Denequia released her first album “The Art of a Woman” and following that album in July of 2018 she released her second album “Therapy 365”. Inspired by her late brother Pierre’s word of encouragement Denequia relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue her music career aggressively.

INCLINE: What person, places or things sparks your creative ability to write your music?
Dene'Quia: I’m inspired by everyday life. Things going on around me, people and real life situations.
INCLINE: When you’re performing, what do you offer your audience that other musical talents do not?
Dene'Quia: I’m very personable I like to get the crowd involved and single out folks by approaching them, singing to them, dancing with them. As an appreciation for rocking with me to my music. At every venue it’s possible to gain more or new supporters and that’s always my goal.
INCLINE: What can we expect to see from you in 2021?
Dene'Quia: You can expect more vocal and string based songs from me. I really want pull you in and what better way then with string instruments.
INCLINE: What advice would you give someone who desires to pursue their dreams but may feel stuck in a bad situation?
Dene'Quia: Go for it! You only have one life. Don't be afraid!
